Find a Business in Yorkton

Located in east-central Saskatchewan, Yorkton is a small yet growing city that has become the retail and services centre for many communities in the province's east, as well as those in western Manitoba.

Yorkton is situated in the Aspen Parkland Ecosystem and is predominantly farmland. Agriculture was, in fact, the driving force for the founding of Yorkton in the late 1800s, by a group of people who were recruited by the York Farmers Colonization Company. The promise of farmland drew many settlers from Ukraine, Germany and several other eastern European countries, which helped shape Yorkton's rich cultural history.

Yorkton's picturesque downtown boasts a mix of beautiful historical buildings and newer, locally-owned and operated businesses, so whether you're visiting and looking to do some shopping or you call Yorkton home, there's little you won't be able to find here.

Attend the long-running Yorkton Film Festival or visit the Yorkton Gallagher Centre, where you can watch a hockey game or curling match, or take a splash in the water park. Whatever your interests, Yorkton is the city 'where good things happen.'
