Saskatchewan's Public Library System offers a variety of resources and services to all residents of the province. The libraries contribute to literacy and life-long learning and play a significant role in education, recreation and cultural enhancement.

A library card is required to borrow all materials including DVD's, CD's, and e-books. The Single Integrated Library System (SILS) online catalogue allows you to search and borrow materials from any public library in the province. Library2go allows you to download digital material onto your computer, eReader, tablet or smartphone.

The provincial public library system includes seven regional library systems, two municipal library systems, a federation of northern libraries and a Provincial Library and Literacy Office.
