Fill-More Seeds Inc. was established in Fillmore, Sask. in 1986 with the opening of the east plant ('Old Plant') for processing of Pulse Crops. Eight years later the west plant ('New Plant') was built along the tracks in order to utilize the rail system. This was an exciting time as it enabled FSI to deliver specialty grain worldwide. FSI commodities were now shipped to Montreal, Thunder Bay, and Vancouver, and exported to such countries as United Arab Emerites, India, Turkey, Italy, Algeria, Germany, Columbia, Peru, Texas, and Mexico.

The Osage, Fillmore, and Creelman elevators were purchased in 2001, and the Glenavon elevator was purchased in 2002, to allow for storage of cereals and oilseeds. In 2010, FSI was purchased by Seaboard Corporation based out of the United States.
